    Coming along so well.

I dare any of you to tell me you wouldn't let this upstanding young citizen slob on your knob like corn on the cob.

Re: 4x4 NOVA VAN EVO 4

Cheers, we managed to wire all the lights and indicators up today.

    Some pictures...

Top photography work here, managed to get the indicator whilst in operation, with a delay on the camera as well !

Most of the wiring is worked out now, we need to swap a few plugs and switches, hazard lights and fog lights being a couple.

Mounting the intercooler next, and getting it piped up.

Re: 4x4 NOVA VAN EVO 4

Yes my mates daughter, she loves the nova.

    Some more pictures...

We started to mount the intercooler, this one that arrived was twisted, so we made sure the pipes fitted, ready for when the new one arrives today.

We also modified the evo filler neck, so it is now through the rear strut tower, inside the car.

The hose pipe will be getting changed.

Some of the wiring going in the bin.

The wiring is a lot simpler now.

Still more to remove, but we are getting there.

A bit more modifying of the GSI bumper.

    Also the tow eye cover

    Not quite !

    Sound !

We fitted all the boost pipes for the engine and intercooler.
Also the pipe from the turbo for the MAF.
We now need an adapter, so i can get a mushroom filter to fit in the engine bay.

We just need to connect the fuel lines and this thing is ready to FIRE !

When you finish building and testing. Do you remove everything again from the car to get it completely painted?

Hello, yes everything will be removed from the car once everthing is modified, and we are happy with it.

It is getting acid dipped, then electro primed.

Then to the bodyshop for the bodykit fitting and some paint.

Cool, something I like to see, girls who sometimes like to get their hands dirty and sod being all "girly" - I trust you'll let her have some* drives of the car?

*At least, until she starts pedalling it faster than you do

Yes shes bagsied a drive of it.

I have a load of photos for you, but photobucket is shit, and is down as normal ???

We managed to get the car fired up and running today, so big smiles, and not many jobs to do now.

I need some seats for it, was thinking of some sparco or recaro bucket seats,

    Some more pictures...

Citroen zx wiper motor arrived and was fitted.

We took off the AYC evo 4 diff as they are prone to failure.

Its nearly twice as big as the evo 5 RS diff im replacing it with.

    Evo 5 RS diff

Had to change the drive shafts, and both carriers for the diff.

    All fitted.

    This is what got swapped.

We got the intercooler fixed solid with a brace bar, homemade obviously, and doing a good job it is !

The propshaft needs to go back for shortening as the measurement changed when the diff got swapped.

We got some jumpleads and a battery and got the engine running. It took a few turns as we removed the tank and all fuel lines,
Once fuel was to the engine it fired straight up and ticks over nice. (well if you can say nice with no exhaust)

Got a flat K&N as opposed to a cone, it fits perfect in there !

Need to fit the heater box, some seats, and wire the wiper motor up, a bit more welding when we can turn it upside down, and there will be other stuff, but we will be stripping it for acid dipping and paint very soon.
