ok so heres my build thread so far on my corsa, nothing to in depth has been done as yet, i suppose you could call it preparation

i bought the car in march last year just after passing my test and it was completely standard.

i didnt start taking pictures untill after i had lowered it 60mm on standard shocks, yeah they didnt last very long lol, also fitted a crappy G max cone filter.

first picture of it just lowered 60mm on standard shocks

found theese old alloys at a scrappy, and debadged the grill and sprayed the black/grey trims matt black and a cold air feed

found these on this very forum

well happy with them

purchased some rubber for the slabs, yokohama s drives

fitted and looking pretty

bought this at the same time as the yoko's, as soon as it arrived at my door i got a bit excited and fitted it lol

got a tad bored and decided to paint my rear bumper that i had missed before, and had a clean behind the lights and stuff, oh and i fitted some mudflaps because i think im a rally driver

got rid of the standard shocks and got some second hand spax dampers to match the spax springs, this got done a while before some of the other pictures, and also fitted some ebc drilled and grooved discs and ebc greenstuff pads

opened my bonnet to have a bit of a clean and found a bulge in the top rad hose :/ so a quick trip to the scrappy to get a replacement was in order, this was the veiw on the inside of the hose......

new one fitted

decided i didnt want my steering wheel black any more so i nitro morz'd the fcuk out of it

, and buffed it up abit

ive always wanted my bonnet raised so when i saw that barnes had done it to his car i asked about it and he was very kind and gave me the measurements

ive had all sorts of opinions after fitting the raisers, most of them bad but its my car and i drive it so fcuk them!

preparation and painting for trax, was planning on going on track but that didnt work out

bought some sparco bonnet pins at trax, took six hours to fit these inbetween charging the drill and playing xbox

, in the end used a corded drill but i had to get my car as close as possible to his flat

my mate neil who has helped me alot with my car

i love how much clearance there is between the wheel and caliper! had to chip all of the wheel weights from the inside of the wheels because the caliper would get jammed on them haha!

and the gsi spoiler that i bought off of TINTIN

, so got that painted up and fitted

also forgot to mention that it has a sportex cat back system and a strut brace on the front, i also have a rear strut brace but havent got round to fit that yet, some of you eagle eyed folk may have already spotted them in the pictures

Its a little bit heavy lol, im only putting the drivers side in for now, gotta work out a way of making a tilting mechanism for passenger. I only just fitted that one this morning before work(I do most of my work on my car at work coz we got a work shop here) and I've been working since lol so I don't know yet lol

use the boot? its still classed as a door, just a bit more awkward to get into the seats gettin in that way, but it is possible

Nah its not my mates I worry about, its my daughter :/ I pick her up every other weekend and she stays at mine, she can sit in the front but then there isn't any where for my girlfriend :/
