Havent really done much lately other than cover 5000+ miles trouble free.. Have been playing around this week with it tho..

Stripped out rear
Brand new Compomotive MO centre caps
-60mm rear springs as it sat too high been stripped out
Removed front number plate
Picked up a 5th MO5 alloy for the boot






Strangely enough started snowing while taking pictures today...



Will be getting SORN'd end of month when tax runs out as its booked into bodyshop, requires a new clutch and tyres and a few other little bits.

Shall be back on the road for PVS

Looks clean that does, very nice wheels. Never been too keen on the shape of these bumpers at the bottom though, makes the splitter look funny.

Cheers for the comments, Had it on the 1/4 mile today and managed 14 dead at 109mph but really struggling to get traction even with an LSD so thinking small wheels with R888 tyres are next and see if I can get into the 13s.

Front bumper and grille are gonna be painted as they are stonechipped to death!

I ended up getting a ported and polished coscast as the old gm head was cracked on number 3 it's booked into Wallace on wed to get the exhaust done ��then off for an mot at the end of the week so happy days Won't be long till it out ripping about ��

You running six speed or five? Got a quife LSD to go in mine. Can't wait.

Any chance of a sneak peak of the grill from behind. Jus wondering what was used to reinforce the corners to accomadate phase2 lights. Don't think I'm gona come across a genuine one.

Not as good as the mk3

I really love this car, part of the inspiration i had to buy a ph2 GSi, have always followed the build thread on mk3oc!

I was never really a ph2 person till I bought this and now much prefer them over the ph1.

Thanks mate, this is how ive always wanted a mk3 turbo astra. Love it

Running six speed with quife lsd fitted, you wont regret it as my old LET ran a five speed and wasnt the same.

Will get pictures of the grille when its back from bodyshop for you mate.
