Thought id stick this on here to remind myself whats what:
Wiring colours are as follows:
XE loom
Green - revcounter feed, wire to green on corsa plug (some corsas may not have this wire, in which case use a bullet connector and run a green wire to the rear of the clocks if you wish to fit a set with a revcounter.
Brown/Blue - ECU light, match to corsa plug
Brown/White - Diagnostics, match to corsa plug
Brown/Yellow - Diagnostics, match to corsa plug
Blue/red (thick) - Fuel pump feed, match to corsa plug
Blue - Coolant temp sensor feed for dash clocks, match to plug
Red/White - Autobox, unused in conversion
Red/Blue (thin) - electronic speedo feed, match to corsa plug
Red (large) - Battery +ve
Black (thin) - Battery ?ve I moved this inside and matched it to the corsa plug
Black/green - Aircon, unused in conversion

Does anyone no anyone selling decent front strenghtening plates on here? If so who and how much?
Managed to get a bit more done, sorted the drivers seat mount:
Just got to get it welded up now and its sorted!
Defo get some base mounted seats soon and weld in some proper seat rails thou!!!!
Coming together mate..
Them bases don't look very strong though mate?!!
My god its been a while since touching the corsa project, all because my good old vectra let me down!!!!
The cambelt tensioner died and cambelt slippage happened!!
Probably my fault as i didn't actually no when it had all be changed last.... NIGHTMARE isn't the word!!!!!
So after thinking is it actually worth fixing i decided its a vauxhall so it would be rude no too......
So couple weekends back me and the boy decided to have a look see what was going on:
Why vauxhall thought they would make it so hard just to remove the rocker tops is beyond me!!!
I think i could have done a whole cambelt change on my XE in the time it took to remove all the shit off the top and remove the rocker tops!!!! lol
Anyway got all that off and saw the timimg was all to shit (which i'd already new) so rang my mate and bought a 86000 miler X25XE out of his sri..
Only bought another engine just incase it had ****ed the heads on mine!
So stripped that engine for the heads and oil cooler:

Then set about stripping and rebuilding them:
What a job it is re-seating 24 valves and putting on the stem seals, took hours!!!!
