I have used chopped up radiator hose to fill the gaps, seems to work well also. More noise from the engine inside the car though and you can feel the engine running much more!

“Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary… that’s what gets you.”
Managed to clean and shot blast a few more bolts and bracket today.
Also started sorting the front hubs out:
Hopefully get too the scrap yeard weekend and grab some vectra b front legs: 288mm front brakes, 5stud hubs. Then ill sort out what bearings to use and machine the front hub carriers.
Cleaned and painted my oil cooler:
Looks a lot better now.
Bring on the warmer weather so i can get on with the body.
Decided im gunna re-run all the brake lines, and install a wilwood bias valve to stop the back end looking up with my 256mm rear discs.,
Does anyone know what the brake fittings are on vauxhall??? I can be bothered to check it out myself.. lol
Thinking they are M10 x 1mm?
Nice job on the rear axle.
I done the same with my engine mounts, it improves gear selection on power and downshifts.
Cheers mate, try not to think about the money I've spent tbh lol...
Looking good mate![]()

Rear beam looks good!
Atb diff (automatic torque bias diff) but its obviously std, ad it still had the speedo drive gear.
Ive also filled rubber mounts with sikaflex/polyurethane sealant (although i smoothed it over, and it looks factory), makes a big difference, keeps the engine solid![]()
What a cracking weekend (not that i got too much done on the motor) Hope everyone had a good one!?
I managed to strip all the brake lines off:
And remove the tank ready to get the underseal out:
The tank wasn't in bad nick but ill paint it anyways:

Decided im gunna run copper brake pipe through the car, and use stainless braided hoses in place of the flexies.
Good morning people wondering if anyone has any advice for me?
I started looking at the wiring last night but a little unsure whats what!?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Here's some pics of what plugs i'm unsure of:
This one I believe I wire colour to colour onto the corsa plugs inside the car?
Then i guess i just need a main power feed and a switched live to run the ecu????
Which i think is the right hand plug in this pic?
Cheers for any help in advance
