    Cavalier v6 Work In Progress

    ok as it started out:

Then the kit and wheels on:

    Then the suspension and exhaust:

RIGHT, DO NOT ANYONE HAVE A GO FOR ME ATTEMPTING THIS, BUT THE CARDS WILL END UP BINNED ANYWAY SO THOUGHT I'D TRY A TEMP MEASURE BEFORE I FIND NEW CARD...

ok - now just started to paint door card fabric as they no longer match the leather interior. This was always a risk as it may screw up, and I think it will, but i have nothing to loose as the door cards looked S.H.I.T anyway!!!

    before:

ok update on the doors and a wee extra mod:

    before:

    after:

Looks really good. I would only recommend this as a temp or cheap measure as its not perfect but its surprisingly ok for a £5 mod!! 4 tins of paint from poundland and a roll of masking tape

    Next wee mod:

Corsa gear stick with vextra selector insert in the top:

some decent pics after a while

gmax shocks, -60mm 2L rears , -40mm turbo front springs

some pics from todays wash and first decent pics...

Useless trivia - with that numberplate I'm almost certain it came from Slaters Vauxhall in north wales.

Re: Cavalier v6 Work In Progress

Very nice Cavalier there. Bit too low for the speed humps round here tho'.

When you change the front seats consider the later Calibra perforated leather seats. They are very comfortable.

Hope you have some good security on it. As a minimum a switch in the fuel pump circuit (don't reply to that question ) and better still a Disklock, as the more it looks like a Turbo the more it will be at risk of being nicked for its, not there, engine. The disappointment would guarantee a burnt out shell. Bear in mind that it is virtually impossible to insure a Cavalier/Calibra Turbo without a CAT1 alarm.

cheers mate - Team Dynamics Pro Race 3 - a bit cheaper than compmo MO5's and speedlines yet still the same 'style'.

Oooft! Quick a big task, bit of a ballache too. Usually the heater control cables are the biggest issue but aside for that it's more a case of being patient and making sure you don't snap clips or pull wires out.
