    Smokey the corsa b

Hey, my name is Alex, I'm based in Stevenage, currently working at Halfords and am doing A-levels (Maths, Further Maths and Product Design) at Nobel and Marriotts. I am a very active member of allcorsa.co.uk but only get to meet up with them about 3 times a year due to location. I am good at maths and engineering type-things, though have very little mechanical knowledge. My cam belt snapped, so I have stripped my engine to the head, not much but it's a start. My passion is electronics, which I am geting fairly good at, as you will see, and before I get 50 comments of 'YOU'RE A CHAV', I just like lights. I have changed every interior bulb to blue, wired footwell lights, under car neons, grill lights, blue in the reverse lights and number plate bulb (as well as normal bulbs) boot popper, my stereo (2X JL 10", 2X Fli 6", 2 X FLI 5", 2X Kenwood KAC-5204, 1X Fli 450s amp, but am looking for a second.) and other things.
Me and the girlfriend going to a fancy dress party, but can you guess what characters we are, I'll give you a hint, the director's initials are Q.T.

    Anyway, my car, a 1.2 8v Corsa:

    addition to the indicators:

I have also fitted some spotlights. My car now pushes 600watts of light from the front. It's daylight on country roads.

My insurance renewal is coming up in March, which is when the more serious mods will take place, such as wheels, 60mm drop, colour coding, Depo and MHW lights, Window Tint, ect, but for now I am poor. I already have some of these, and when I'm done, it won't look too dis-similar to this:

If I still have the car when I'm 20, I'm going to jam an X30XE in there, but by then, I want a convertible Corsa, rare as rocking horse **** and I've never seen a modded one, so an Arden v6 convertible with GSI kit, dropped 100 and irmy softstar 16"s should be quite tasty

So, lemme know what you think

Haha, that's generally the response I get lol. I respect clean show cars, and rat and euro looks, but this is my first car, it's time to be silly. My next cars are likely to be MX5/S2000 route, so not really appropriate for neons.
My gf's brother crashed his astra and is splitting it. I can't post this in the sale section, and it'll probably be scrapped before my 60 days are up. Here's the thread where you can see who I am, and buyer's responses: http://www.allcorsa.co.uk/forums/sho...0.html?t=46340
If the mods still aren't happy with my trustwortheyness, I'll remove the link

EDIT: Melv, just had a look at your corsa project. You've gone for the clean sleeper look, looks nice, but I'm not at all surprised you aren't in to my car lol XD

Little picture update. I fitted some DRLs (you didn't expect me to do all these updates without paying attentions to the lights, did you?)

    So, normally:

    Engine on:

    Some nice shots:

    And the mandatory 'everything on':

    Nice image:

    Anyway, sad update:
I had a car crash on Friday. I'd just been driving in fog and still had the fog lights on. Fairley unmissable, but a ****ing absent minded driver still found me. Lights went Red, I applied my brakes, the old woman behind me was having chat far to interesting to look where she was going and didn't apply her's. She dented her bonnet, broke her headlight and bumper. My crash bar took the impact and bent as it's designed to, my bumper bounced back. Inside the boot has crumpled as it's made of paper. That's about it though.

I was almost sideswiped by a fiesta 5 minutes later, I was overtaking on the duel carrage way, and once again the stupid bitch was too busy talking to look to her right. SHE got the 130db horn treatment though.

Cambridge: where cars go to crash.

    Damage:

Update: At half 11 tonight, Me, Dan and Liam just lowered the rear more. 2cm more in fact. It does now handle better! The old springs were 30-40 if not less:

I will get some better pictures in the morning
