    Arden Blue Sport

Hello, Im new here so thought i'd start up a little project thread of my corsa sport from when i bought it to as it stands now

Bought that car from a nice chap in wilmslow (very posh area) for about £750 as he wanted rid to fund his focus ST170
The car was already partly modified but not to my likings.
It had a viynl wrapped bonnet in black, black lexARSE lights, lowered 60mm on jamex springs, Team dynamic jet black alloys and a sportex exhaust system.

    As i bought it

First mod came along which was swapping headlights with a mate as he wanted to sell his 1.6 sport completely standard. So along came some lovely depo smoked headlights

Next mod was a tigra scuttle panel from a local scrappy! Made a huge difference i think

Then i began getting frustrated with the black bonnet (began pealing at the bottom) so i ripped it all off which i got even more frustrated with.... So this plan came about...

Then a friend said he wanted my back lights so i did a straight swap with him for some standards and smoked the indicator and reverse lights on them

Then a friend sold me a arden blue bonnet for £20 just in time for trax 2011 (was on stand with corsasport/weekend racers) and also modded my Depos to clear lense's

Then along came the badboy bonnet (Still alot of work to be done and sprayed black to cover up the writing on the bonnet)
And sold the wheels to buy a set of cavalier SRI fanblades

    Future plans are:
    Coilovers
    German Rear Lights
    Finish badboy bonnet in blue
    Opel Grill
    Opel mudflaps
    Semi Smoothboot
Possibly C20LET (end of this year maybe)
    Colour code or glossblack trims
Fanblades white with opel badges on centre caps

    Cheers Adam

Cool, i tried to get in the army as i'm a qualified electrician but i have a criminal record so its a no go brothers in the signals & loves it, hes working at the olympics before he starts his pre deployment. Anyway...i need to get 1 of them scuttle panels for mine, looks much better! Let's are very frustrating but very satisfying when you piss all over somebodys subaru etc.. The look on their face is priceless! however, mines now broke for the second time so be prepared to know how to take it to bits & rebuild it lol

And thats the plan. Theres alot of people i know from school driving saxos and 106's who wouldn't expect me to be driving something like that

W92O: they're 100+ jet black alloys on 195/50/R15's. They came with the car and not really my cup of tea.

    Cheers

    Re: Arden Blue Sport

Need some help. My altinator belt keeps rubbing on something and as i drive along it wears down one side of the belt (only too a certain point but doesnt snap!)

what could it be rubbing on? Bearing in mind its lowered 60mm and theres brand new engine mounts fitted 1 month ago as we thought this was the cause....

Just start it & leave it ticking over with the bonnet up, you should be able to see what its rubbing on. Its hard to say without pictures aswell
