I am a new user on this site and would like to share my project with you. I am 25 years old and comes from Denmark
I bought my Opel Kadett c 1.2 s in August 2010
The car is from the year 1974 and has been imported from Sweden to Denmark in 2010, and is in excellent original condition.
The bodies must have made ​​a little rust and must be painted in a green color that I have not found yet (olive green)

Since August 2010 I have worked with the engine, brakes, fuel tank, rear axel. and then I bought a lot of parts to the project.







The last few months I�ve bought a lot of parts to the car, I bought a C20XE, manta 1.8 sump and engine mounts, Opel Rekord E 2.2 front brakes and many parts to refurbish the engine.















I want to renovate all parts on the engine so it looks new.

Some update for 9/12-2010
I�ve been in workshop and work a little and then I received a few more cool things to the engine I would also like to receive my Opel Rekord E 2.2 brakes that I bought last Tuesday.
I have since the last time removed fuel injectors and other things so I can wash all the parts so they are like new again

My belt from a Manta B 1,8 OHC for my conversion of the distributor cover and ignition, so it will be mounted on the side of the engine.





I have today received the ARP bolts and Glyco bearings.

I started to build my garage so the car stands still and waits for renovation, but I‘ve built the engine and other parts.

My Rekord E 2,2 Brake renovation







Caliper has been sandblasted and painted with two component paint, The brakes have new pistons and gasket anywhere. So they are ready for installation

I have blasted my rear axel and found out that the material was a little thin, so I had started to weld some fresh metal from my manta rear axel onto kadett c rear axel.
It should be powder coated as soon as it is assembled.

It looks nice but the paint came off, so it was time for sandblasting
