did you end up welding on the corsa vxr rear mounting plates to the std corsa c beam? As iirc some 1.7 diesel corsa c's run 5 stud anway
I just made a template off the vxr hub for the studs and drilled the corsa mounting plates to suit and welded up the old holes when I get time I will power wash the underside of the car

Yeah it was a good feeling when she started I just used autodata it's fairly straight forward can't tell you what to do as its not fair on the other 15 people who have pm asking on how it's done it's not hard if you get stuck the time then give me a shout and I will point you in the right direction or bring it to me and I will do it for u

This is only too true!!! If it became comon knowledge, with a full TUT on how to build one, everyone would be at it. It would lower the value and remove the fun factor when every 1.2 corsa you come up against is a turbo. And the fact alot of knobs would get hold of them. Zlets are selling for about a grand max atm, One can prob be built for about < 3k now, if the work was done yourself. Which is a bit crap having put about 5.5k into a zleh corsa......

everyone knows how to build a corsa c20let and there still plenty of them over the 2k mark
i see your point right enough its not rocket science anyway i just wondered why it was kept hush hush, makes sense now tho
There's a "how to build " thread on the Corsa C forums.. gives you part numbers of bits you'll need.

True seen it mate.... The one I seen did have a few bits missing though and still hush hush. But as said, easily enough worked out too.

I have seen this thread that tells you all about parts but when it comes to wiring there's nothing to help you at all
Nice to hear its running pal, Theres no better feeling when you turn it over & it starts, more relief than anything i think lol i see what you're saying about the info & i kind of agree but as said theres so much info out there about c20let corsas but theyre still pretty rare. I'd be very frustrated if somebody knew how to help me & wouldnt share lol i probably couldnt of done mine without help off people on here, saved me a lot of time & effort just from asking on here. I'll look forward to seeing this at shows this year
