its been long over due and the gsi deserves better than to be sat on my drive doing he-haw!, so since starting to break my gte & being overly bored with my astra VXR i have decided its time to start a project thread on the gsi, i wont blether to much about it, i have had it approx 4 years now give or take, to start with it was a standared gsi that i ran happily standard for a while but i got the bugand it went from gsi xe to gsi c20let, i bought the engine from ? in shefield for £600 and it had the following, think the chips were gen? Vmax evo5 chips forge actuator kent vernier pulley with xe inlet cam saab red injectors K & N panel filter forged low comp pistons H beam rods frontera fmic hard boost pipes forge dump valve ARP head stud kit ARP rod bolts 8v sump/bafle plate, cant remember if there was anything else?. that lasted all of 3 months (was feking EPIC to say the least) until an oil cooler pipe decided to spit its dummy just out side anstruther fife and i snapped a rod melted a piston and blew half a rod and rod cap with half an ARP rod bolt all over the road plus 2 hole's front and back in the block, so since then it has been sat on my drive almost 2 years
now i have nearly got shot of the dreaded gte my love for the gsi has TOTALY swung back around!
, it now sits on my drive with the gte xe in it cavalier turbo wheels (in black) and 1 bucket seat as a temp measure (i have 2 buckets courtesy of NEMESIS) and sparco harness, i will mot & tax the gsi with the xe then i will slap ANOTHER c20let in it, time for some pictures
