Hi Guys, thought I'd do a little post on my Astra. After getting rid of my Beloved Fiesta XRTT, I needed a new, modernish car, comfortable and stylish. Spotted a Black SRI on eBay and picked it up for £400 needing a little TLC. Got it home, had a loud S/S exhaust on it. (took this off after MOT) Ran it for 3 months, then put in for MOT. Couple of Hundred quids later, 12 months MOT and a happy me, time to add a few subtle Mods.

When I got it :





Wheels I picked up from a member from here, and de-spoilered :



eBay Coilovers, H7 Bulbs, and Bonnet bra added :




I am happy how it looks now, sits and rides nicely.

Off to the bodyshop next week for a bit of tidying up. Passenger wheel arch, and the wheels tidied up. But I think it looks nice, What are your opinions.

Mk4s make superb daily drivers. Smooth, quiet, well built and still scope a plenty for playing, not much fear of rust.

Assume on a T reg it's a 2.0?

Cruise is fairly easy to do too. I sometimes fancy a sat nav install in place of the clock display.

yeah use to be mate. got a blue astra coupe turbo now on mercedes brabus wheels.

Cheers Sy, Yeh well.... all eras have to end, Glad the shell went to a good guy with good plans. All the other bits, will live on with others !
Just ordered new discs and pads for the back. Will fit them sunday =)

Just gave the car an all over polish

Back from the Bodyshop now.

Had works done at Crash Repair Centre, Mochdre. One of my best mates runs the place, great job on my car.

- Wheels Refurbed, Centres painted Matt Astra G Black, Edges are High Silver
- Drivers side rear wheel arch, repaired and painted
- SRI spoiler removed from boot, smoothed over
- Front Splitter painted up.

Cheap Xenon kit from eBay fitted, Well impressed with the results.



Also fitted a Cone air filter this week, and as I had some blue bits of silicone hoses left from the Fiesta, I started fitting a few of them to the Astra.
