heres my mk1 1.3 sr soon to be converted to let power i fitted her with a 2ltr 8v engine and box ran for 2 years with that engine was quick but always craved let power so sold engine and bought a c20let in need of a rebuild want 300bhp heres a few pics

now some pics of the engine and bits ive been buying

Painted block.

Heat wrapped manifold and painted up turbo housing.

Painted up inlet and stripped it down for inspection.

ARP rod bolts a must for lets.

New bearing sets. Had a new crank aswell but no pics.

Turbo technics actuator now painted up good as new.
Now a few pics of where am at engine removed alternator cutout done and seam welded up bay


Cross member cut out and boxed in for frontera cooler which is hidden for sleeper look.

Engine bay painted up flame red



Started building bay up painted wiper motor bracket brake servo and other various things





Front end built up with new headlights and grill back on for a genral mock up will post updates soon thanks for looking.

Personally, I think the spare rules what you've got fitted - but perhaps it's too small or summut?

Thanks for comments yeh its pretty bright but that was it fresh now not as bright. Wheels are comp th only got the one at the min but gonna buy a set after engine is done its sat on cesaros which i like

Update bought a custom manifold with t3 fitment and external wastegate but dont know about using it as space is very tight i will get a pic up might be for sale shortley.

Cheers ben yeh its a good one ive put new arches on it 2 years ago and painted her about 18 months ago in that small garage you see its in. wanted a LET for it for ages so gonna mint everything up ready for dropping it in. Yours is looking great as always ben.

UPDATE ENGINE AND BOX IN HERES SOME PICS......






Engine was a pain getting inn as no space in garage left inlet off for mo as i need to paint it and do the clutch exit mod didnt realise how tight the inlet is to bulkhead.
Also need to paint block again as i painted when cold and went cloudy then can get the turbo bolted on.

Had some 3m carbon wrap lying about so had a go at wrapping my slam panel came out ok heres some pics..



Will update at weekend dont get much time on her at the mo but hoping to get the inlet on and turbo then i can fit rad/cooler.
