    Project x14xe-X20xev-z20let 5 door astra

3 years ago i bought a standard 1.4ls mk4 astra from my aunty. Wasnt standard for long as i put it on coilies, new alloys, gsi spoiler, leather bucket seats & a few more bits. 6 months later i got bored & put an x20xev in it. Had it RR'd standard at 136.8bhp so was doing well i put a lexmaul 4-2-1 manifold on it & had an exhaust system made. I then swapped it for an octavia vrs with my mate (gsilee91) who is now putting a z20let in it not sure how many 5 door astras there are around but i imagine its going to be rare we started today by getting the engine out, we left the gearbox in as i put an f23 on it when i put the 2.0 in so we can re-use it heres a few pics of todays progress

This took us about 2 hours altogether so not too bad, we then went to fetch the new engine & other essential bits from nemesis round the corner & brought it back. Next thing to do is get the dash loom out & fit the new looms before putting the engine in. Should be good fun & a nice change from my corsa! Lol more pics to follow when its in & running.....fingers crossed
