Re: My Arden Project: winter rebuild!

I know davey was pretty gutted to tbh. Wasent even ment to be in there in the first place lol.

Iv got autosprint 288 cams. They made a world of a difference, there pretty big so can imagine what it idles like lol. But I couldn't fault them anymore than that.

How do you mean Darren? When I ha to mod the arches to fit the wheels or what I'm doing now with filling the engine bay arch holes in?

Re: My Arden Project: winter rebuild!

Had some parcels turn up this morning.

    Water proof and breathable carcover,

And the hoses I ordered and had to send back to have made in black,

Thursday my friend and I started doing abit of welding, mainly just some little holes and other little cover ups that won't be needed. Also got some chassis plates in but forgot to get pictures so will get some later on.

First of all dash had to be removed,

    Then welding began,

    Still need to

    - Cut half the bulk head out and weld a new part in
    - weld some more holes up
    - make templates for the arches and ac hole
    - cut some more lugs of and weld over
    - weld in arches and ac cover

Then on to prepping it all!

Re: My Arden Project: winter rebuild!

    Cheers mate

    Done a little bit today

Just got all the old seam sealer off and ground a few other bits off and down abit.

Still need a fair bit a welding to do. Then once that's all out of the way I can start fillering it all in.

Ground the hooks off from here as they won't be needed

Still need to weld up this massive mess lol
