mk3 astra van saab turbo

hello this is my little project mk3 astra van had it about a year now its in red with gsi front bumper and bonnet lowerd on tigra alloys (hate them) i have a set of cav gsi wheels (slabs) for it. As for the engine i used the c20xe down york race way a few times 14.9 was the best out the old shed and also off a few sets of traffic lights (private road) i pulled the van off the road due to tax and test and supplied and fitted the xe in to a m8's corsa b (arden blue) so with a rolling shell the plans are tidy OSR arch gone on the lip, strip what i dont need,sort engine bay, get cradle shot blasted then powdercoated new arms,drop links,track rod ends,paint bits then fitt the b204 motor get it running help from astranige (cheers) stage 2 for now ebay intercooler then go from there realy will up load pics soon cheers.

Got this new cooler yesterday with two 90deg bends nice ans shiny

I have also got theys sitting about doing nothing av got a braided feed but wrong ends! so going to ring WON and order nylon feed to suit the WON solinoid.

now just waiting on powder coater to say its done then get the brand new arms and painted anti-roll bar and the new drop links then refit as one unit.

Got over the garage the day just to see were the cooler is going to sit, looks good will hardly see it with the number plate on will take it off for better airflow on trackdays.

looking good! how you going about the wiring and which engine you using? b204/234?? removing the immobiliser from the ecu via t5 suite or are you wiring it in?

B204 mate and Nigel has sorted wirring and a stage 2 map off the t5 suite looking forward to it up and going

Right havnt been on for a while been moving unit and couldnt get the van moved due to the powerder coater having the cradle so av got it back in black no cash swapped just a bottle of wiskey sorted now the van is at the new unit i can start some more work right so i have got the van at the unit along with the engine, ecu thats had stage 2 and the mods to get it running also got the wirring of nige sitting ready to go the plan is to fit engine get all pipe's to fit fuel,water,oil ect tidy wirring take it all back out get the bay painted get it looking fresh then refit all and paint a few bits and bobbs little bit cleaning to make it look half decent and that will be that side of the van just about done.

As for the engine going to get a new rocker cover gasket has a slight leak also service with good plugs,oil+filter and a cupple of vacuums split to sort no real problems will update with pics soon cheers for looking.

right spent a few hours on the van getting engine in and a few bits and bobbs sorted throttle cable,intercooler mounted and sort sum pipe work out got from top hat to cooler done need to order 180deg bend for turbo side of cooler also need to pick a lenth of fuel hose up to make up not a hard job also spent £30 on two relays needed for my loom/fusebox so few bits sorted pic to follow

Cheers for feed back ladds yes going to use Saab rad me and a m8 broke a full car for the running gear 4 year ago when we would have been the second one done a think? But never got it running just cranking over so never got around to do it and I always. Wanted one running so here I am round 2 with a van this time just this time wirring is sorted along with the stage 2 going to get the wet gass up and running just to try it on the strips cheers agin
