well i started off last year when i bought the car with a full respray couple of panels due to holes in rear arches. Set of lowering spring and shocks full poly bush kit front and rear strut brace finished of with my 1.8 8v running twin 40s so this is the progress from then to now Not finished fully yet still waiting on the management to be finished off and waiting for oil feed and return for my turbo then there will be abit of wiring to do for my wideband and boost gauge and management. Hope you all like will update when sorted on car again here is the pictures so far:



































so thats it far now so ive changed rods pistons flywheel clutch and gearbox.
The twin 40s and engine for sale on 1.8 block im on a 2.0 8v now because of piston size

right a bit more has happened since its coming together had problems with my management burnt igntion drivers out but got it running not well but seems to be ok few oil leaks to sort out now and i need a new rad as mine has gone started leaking now here what ive been on with

been mapped now running on small injectors so its just at 13psi of boost will be going more a few little leaks to sort out and then be right

looks mint. is that the c20ne engine what had to be done to the management?

scrap the management went stand alone mega squirt it needs to be setup to run dispac and a few mods for fuel and spark then a good map on it
the engine is a seh block as it was the best condition its forged bottom end any way with low comp pistons and steel rods

it were some thing different to a gte either that or a merit would of done and yes she is running till end of next week she is getting stripped out and down and cleaned up over winter time might aswell as its not good weather for being out just spins up and might go for a diff yet
at the moment had only one problem and thats with the size of my rad being to small and over heating think head might need some work or just gasket its been around abit as this head its a engine wh**e

Thanks for the comment aswell changing wheels next time its out going to put vectra sri wheels on and i need some bigger brakes as the valver brakes just done cut it

What a project! love the fact it still looks like an sri, rather than being another gte rep. The 4-stud vectra b alloys looked really good on it!

thanks ive still got the bump strips to fit and it still have every thing to get back to standard even the wheel trims

well thought i should update as its been a while managed to change front brakes and under seal the whole of the under neath of the car and painted a few bits up my actuator is on order so should be here soon
