Stick it on some throttle bodies, lad on the dyno same day as me made 171bhp on omex 600, but puma lump may be better cost wise I'd of thought, tidy looking car though apart from the the tin worm
Custom C20LET/Z20LET Inlet manifolds from £250, XE/LET baffle sumps £50, Re-flanges, EVO TD05 turbo conversions, aluminium & stainless steel TIG welding, pm for requirements

Also a nice OEM touch was this 1Litre of ford oil in bag with gloves etc. It has velco so sticks in the boot wherever you want

    Re: Kev's Fiesta Zetec S

Been using the car for nearly a week now. Everything is working as it should, really enjoying using it daily if im honest - apart from the drone on the motorway revving at 4k around 70mph (im used to about 2k from my diesel!) I also keep trying to find 6th gear brickwall

Gave it yet another clean and took some pictures saturday, all ready for its mot and service on thursday

Thursday night will be all loaded up then off to Rockingham Friday.

    Excited much? HELL YES!!!!!!

    Re: Kev's Fiesta Zetec S

Right update time Pre and Post Rocky all in one

Car has been used for the last month id say as the beetle finally sold so this for now is now Kellys daily (madness i know............)

    Car was serviced with -
    • Ford Oil
    • Ford Oil Filter
    • Ford Plugs
    • Ford Fuel Filter
    • Ford Air Filter

The Mot was done a few days later as i wanted to run the car and make sure it was ok as it had been sat on the drive for 6 months!

Passing without a issue the car was used by Kelly for the week until last Friday when we both had the day off

She arrived at mine about 11/12pm and we cleaned the car top to bottom, gave it a coat of polish and loaded it up with a overnight bag, camera and 2 Helmets............. That's right we where off to Rockingham :veryhappy:

Id been waiting for this date for months like a kid at Xmas as Since selling my old Astra GSI i'd been desperate to get back on track. The drive down to the hotel was fine, not much traffic on the roads and we sat at a steady 60/65mph all the way using about have a tank to 150 miles. Also the ride on the AP Coilovers wasnt to bad, alot softer than the Astra the car replaced!

At the hotel the car was parked up by the door, under cover after we had been for the meal and locked up for the night (anyone know whos the **** box golf is?)

Got woken up early by the rooms bloody stupid aircon unit so i checked on the days weather -

Not the best start really but still I didnt care. Bit of Brekkie i fitted the tow hook to the front and we arrived at circuit within a few minutes. We emptied the car into a garage (thank you guys!) and signed on. Briefing was clear and easy to understand.......... No fecking racing!

Sighting laps first up and as the track was being run in 2 different layouts in the day it would make for a good day!

With it being wet i wasnt having much issues TBH only the state of my lines and getting out of peoples way

Car did get a bit twitchy on the long left hand bend near the back straight but in the afternoon this went so it didnt bother me anymore :shame:

Afternoons layout was perfect. Pif Paf the car loved a quick left then right it went like a dream.

Over all the car was fantastic. Lacks a bit of power but TBH as im re learning thats fine for now, just needs proper seats and a diet. This cant change for a while so for now its fine! I think i may look into a set of cams, manifold and decent exhaust that should sort the lack of grunt out. If not like a friend ill drop a 2litre will be dropped in.

Brakes wise i hardly used them i just flung the car in the corners :shame:

Im also hunting for a set of track wheels id like to get another set of Team Dynamics if not i fancy these but powder coated red -

15" Ford Rally lightweight alloy wheels :chin:

    enough talk more pics -

Quick Vid from the Afternoon -

Needs another clean this weekend but drove home perfect to

Shocked at how well the little car did and how much fun it was. Currently looking to get back to Oulton Park later in the year.
