bought the car last may with 50k on the clock fsh and already running about 260bhp.
here are the pics when i get it, it was a steal so had to see it to believe it

i had the car like this for about 4 weeks before i decided i didnt like the cream so got a retrimmed astra gsi interior ans sprayed my centre dash to match.

next i got a genuine gsi front bumper which i had sprayed and fitted by a mate.

a short trim to romax in stockton for the wheels to be done in gloss backand i was happy with the car

i got a bit bored of the performace so i decided to get the eds manifold and top hat fitted and made 307bhp on phase 3.5 eds and its a flying machine as you can the the inlet mani makes it pull to 7k

cobra 3in turbo back system with 200 cell sprts cat ( best sounding exhaust i have ever heard )

car was mapped in jan the after humming and harring i decided to go all out on a full power rebuild to make this car a bit special, i am in the process of getting all the parts i need together before my mate rebuilds my engine to the following spec:

head:

cometic 1.3mm wrc head gasket
arp head stud kit
xev inlet cam
piper vernier pulley to time inlet cam correctly
double valve springs
platform spacers.

bottom end:

cosworth 86.5mm piston
steel h-beam rods with arps
new and uprated bearings
ballancer shafts removed
all new gaskets
new oil pump
new water pump
cambelt kit and tensioners

block rebored and honed
oil jets fitted
head getting a full strip and clean

yes aiming for about 380-400bhp, im more interested in being able to use the power rather than high hp figures. ill be using the gt2871r with the 64ar exhaust housing to keep the lag down.

ill be ordering regals inlet and exhaust cams next month which should give good gains.

4 new toyo t1r tires this month, mtec vented and grooved front disks, yellowstuff pads front and oe rear as i have no tread or brakes lmao

nortech sent me wrong size down pipe and ended up with the custom made 3in milltek race pipe above to replace my 2.5in elbow at no extra charge happy xmas me. now a direct bolt on to existing system. so big thanks nortech and quick to resolve problem .

We'll after talking to chris and ryan at regal the car is now going in there instead of mpg on 4th feb to be left with them while I'm working away for 10 weeks. They are going to rebuild my engine using my parts, fitting my nortech kit and gt2871r 86ar. Going to run the engine in properly for me then map it with my siemans deka 630s. So its drive in with 300bhp and drive out with over 400 all being well lol

i pick it up full mapped and run in on the 2nd may mate, not ready for shows yet as its getting a full respray first possible in audi shell white. uprated brakes and a few interior mods. skint know for a few months lol. should be finished for trax

anyone seen a nurburgring astra coupe? ha ha watch this space

Yea it does mate, raced my mate in his phase 3 z20let & i leave him, even though im boosting at 9 & hes boosting at about 15 on a vxr turbo. Turns a few heads but looks very average compared to barnes & bigron's lol Just like a go kart, its a lot of fun :)

k-sport 330mm 8 pots getting fitted in next few weeks, should shave off the speed no probs lol.
car is on regal stand at pvs if anyone wants a look.

also now fitted with regal v-flow kit with 90mm built in maf and larger custom intake
