i think i’d save the hassle and put it on the floor behind the passenger seat, lower down the better for anything remotely heavy

Small update again, needed to make battery clamps to hold in the bat obv lol. So nothing fancy again, just 2 L shape brackets. But did use rivet nuts the wrong way round to bolt to. worked out great, Also decided to drill 5 holes on top. Wasnt sure bout it, but glad i did. Looks great.

Ano its a bit thick. But its all i had, so make do with what u got. Think its only 3mm, Plus its cut into the floor were a mounting point for the cradle is, so keeps a bit of strength there.

Happy new year to everyone. Some more progress on the astra. few small jobs. Wanted to make a bracket for the brake bias adjuster. took a couple of attempts on it to get it right. But happy with the end result. Also had to make something to mount the ecu and the cage is were it should be. Would love stand alone management but cant afford that the now. so welded 3 bolts on the cage. then needed needed to make a bracket for other bias valve and decide where to mount it.

No update today, Just a purchase i bought. Bosch fuel pump and filter with twin bracket. Think this should do the job. Got it from Cushioned Hose Clamps P Clips, Bosch Fuel Pump Adapters items in Torques U.K store on eBay! (Torques-uk) very helpful, Will be using them again for the pipe and fittings. Need to decide what side the pot goes on as with the pump.
