you have the same turbo and manifold!!! your elbow actually lined up? mine didn't lol. i would get that turbo fitted with a 360 thrust bearing an re balance... they dont last long other wise.
    Roll on LET power....

Nice conversion, any more pics of the rear end?

Bumper not really to my taste TBH but at least it will give you room for a big intercooler I guess! (space inside it is the reason I havent binned the nasty fibreglass bumper off my nova, I prefer standard looking ones but not with a gaping hole in them!)

yea sure i will add some more pics when the cars back on its wheels can’t really get to the back properly at the min. i would love to make it look like a standard gsi but i can’t, like you say need the room behind the front bumper for the intercooler's, also iv got rid of them massive arches that was on the back, im just going for combat arches now.

    Re: Corsa turbo 4x4 rebuild

Little up date from today, cleaned all the bottom arms and painted them and fitted them, driveshaft’s fitted had a small problem when fitting them cuz the engine was sitting too far to the right so 1 shaft wouldn’t go into the hub, so had to get the engine back on the cairn and adjust the rear mount, problem sorted...

Old discs and new Evo 7 discs...

Car finally back on its wheels after 2 and a half years...

Still got a few more bit and bobs too do then i can make a start on the bodywork and get it ready for a respray

    Re: Corsa turbo 4x4 rebuild

Went to Birmingham to pick the bodykit up today, done a little trial fit to see what it looks like... also i took my propshaft in on Monday to have the rubber mounts repaired and a new cv joint fitted, but had a phone call today saying there’s nothing they can do with mine so now iv got to have a new propshaft made for £270+vat... not too bad i was thinking about £400 so im happy

    Re: Corsa turbo 4x4 rebuild

Not done any work on the corsa for a few months not had time for it, but had a few hours spare over the last couple of weeks so made a little progress.

This is the new propshaft i had made as the last one had shot it, this is all fitted now looking good...

The 3'' top hat fitted with the 5th injector...

The rest of the bodykit fitted that was a massive mess around! because one side skit was 6'' to long one was half inch to small the front arches didn't fit right so this took a lot of time getting right but all fitted now just some filling and sanding to do...

And most of the loom put on the engine now...

So im hoping if i keep on it over the next few weeks it will be ready to go in and have the exhaust made and go for its respray!

    Oil cooler fitted...

Temp gauge to keep an eye on the transfer box temperature...

    Random engine pic...

    And finally shes aliveee!!!!!!!!

(this is a video dont know if it will work??)

Its a bit loud because there's no exhaust on at the min, also it sounds a bit tappy to me is this because its a rebuilt engine???

My engine taps it's tits off until I drove it and gave it some load after a rebuild as the hydrolic lifter were empty
