astra mk2 - another saab project

Hello, I've been reading migweb for a few years, even found some cool stuff to buy in forums.
In my life i had 4 astra mk2:
c20ne


20seh with engine defect


c18xe


and c20ne




the last is the one that is going to be turbo now.
I had c20xe in it after i blew c20ne, and a year later a little bit modified another c20xe. Then I decided to go turbo way.

soo, i was reading migweb and saw nige-p topic. That was the day when i understood that i want saab lump in my GSi.
Actually, nige-p helped me a lot with consultations and i will have a lot more questions for him, because the project is far from finished.

The first thing was to buy a saab:


then - to remove the engine (i blew this on a track day, so i had to buy one more, lol)

Good start, I do like the idea of a B204e in a mk2.

Ah right, is that the low pressure map then? I think you can just swap the ecu's over from a FPT model.

Converting a Saab lpt to an fpt

Ideally you want to go for a T7 conversion, as far as I'm aware it's more stable (doesn't spike) so controls boost better and is lots cheaper to replace if it goes tits up.

actually iron was in good condition, keeping in mind that it was standing outside, dropped on bottom on lawn for 4 years.
But that time ago it had too many small defects that it would be worth to invest in.
