Unfortunately, at the end of the day I had 2 broken kw shocks, but it's ok, my plan is to replace them all with gaz coilies
I wasn't alone in this event, I had some good friends with their crazy rides

small update

new XER cams arrived



and decided to play with my rear drums, put down the rear axle and took the drums to the local machine shop of a friend and convert them to hubs


firstly cut the unnecessary matterial



and..


Now need to make some iron adaptor plates with 3 mm thick to attache the VW alloy calipers

no, it was his conversion, took a donor evo4 and everything bolt straight to the colt , I'll try to take some pics from him and more infos if you want

more update from rear axle, finaly made the plates and custom handbrake cables on the way


I need to buy some alen bolts, I didn't have that type of thread so used some trial bolts

yeah, very good times, I wish next year to go again, at this time with the engine in (x20xev) and my brothers mini vtec too

update, Unfoortunately my pockets are empted again so proggress will be slow down too

the rear antiroll seems to working fine, the tail of the car still remains stiff when hard cornering, even with the dead KW shocks. But I need to test it o higher speeds.

Brakes also better than heavy drums, the abs still working, but I need to bleed them again and remake the handbrake cables, I made them too short

Maybe I need new longer wheel studs, the have 1cm of thread bolted !!
