too many cars and not enough time. lol. would be thinning out my fleet elsewhere long before thinking of selling this one though.

A little update, I haven't done much to the car for a while as my angle grinder was starting to slowly kill me, plus the weather has been rubbish! So I thought i'd find someone to sandblast the rear wishbones I got from Steven and the front legs I got from my brother.
Also a few weeks ago I put the rear frame and diff onto a trolley and rolled it under the car out of the way.
I may strip it again and get them blasted and painted toas the other bits that have been done are satin black.
Here's some pic's
All four parts blasted treated and painted was £60+vat I didn't think that was bad.
I'v also had a bit of a tidy up and now have loads of plastic boxes these two piles are the Turbo Tecnics Turbo conversion which I got from DougieThe Pace Courtenay parts are with the engine builder.
Thanks for looking.

very clean and cheap really looking good would love to have this with the 8v turbo in
good to see some progress still![]()
Here we go with another teeny update, I'v been collecting parts for ages, and my recent purchases include Bilstein shocks Astra GTE fronts and Cav/Calibra rears which are wrong so no update on the rear end as yet plus still waiting on a new rear hub and brake caliper! Although I was able to build up the front legs. I went to another garage and collected these springs which i'v been sitting on for years now.
I'd stripped a few legs down so had a fare few internal parts to choose from so got cleaning and painted some other bits then set about building this up
Here's some of the bits that I didn't use
So here's the leg rebuilt and so it doesn't get knocked about back on the car
And the other side

Nice work mate, makes me think bout getting my stuff coated??
Think I speak on behalf of most on here when I say I cant wait to see the final product. Have you decided what colour your going to do the car? The last time i read you were indecisive.
This will be like a factory built gte 4x4 that was never made?

Good progress mate . blasting the parts was worth it they look great.
did you say the rear springs you got are no use? would you sell them by any chance?
i think a saab v6 turbo would be good in this , looking good buddy quite a job you got there
absolutely superb project mate
Did some work on this, this afternoon I managed to put the rear wishbones onto the subframe. But before I rolled it back under the car I got the angle grinder out and a wire wheel and continued cleaning the underside of the car. Here's the pic's
And the underside
And the axle back under the car
I also got to clean up the garage
Thanks for looking
Chris
