Cheers Gary, I've found 4 stud discs/beam, can I just take the hubs off or would I need to take the whole beam off

like gary said, but you will need handbrake cables etc too. you can either replace the whole rear beam or you can unbolt drums and replace with disks

brakes went again today!! thats both calipers gone in last 4 weeks, iv had nothing but brake problems with it since day 1. getting sevierly fed up off it tbh! its got one more chance lol

when i turbo it i will no need for that now as every part of the brakes are split new!!

Another little update, not a great one! but what can you do!

Tuesday night: very little time so was a mad rush to adjust handbrake and fit front ARB links for m.o.t on wednesday, anyway managed that okay. went for a wee spin all was fine till i came home, put the van in reverse and the bloody handbrake went on! (handbrake goes on in reverse but fine in forward..) had enough, gave up!

Wednesday morning (m.o.t day): quickly adjusted handbrake again, dropped off at m.o.t station. phonecall 2hours later.. "Your van popped a cylinder on the brake tester" effing raaging! phoned my mate with a garage to sort it as iv had just about enough with it tbh. need new shoes on both sides(replaced 1 year ago) new handbrake cable(also replaced 1 year ago) and 2 new cylinders (1 replaced 3weeks ago) wont have it back till next week sometime as the garage is flat out, then re-m.o.t

I really have had enough of it.. one more thing goes wrong with the brakes and im selling it! garunteed then whoever buys it, has problem free motoring with it though

Still waiting for my painter to finish of a few wee things as he's really bust atm, should have them back in the next few days.. hopefully.

Yesterday was the first time seeing it up close, unreal how clean it is, even if you dont say yourself, just too picky

Update time

I had my door strips colour coded a while back, wasnt sure if it would be too "white" or not, but I bit the bullet and got them done anyway! safe to say I prefer it to the black At the same time I had my estate tailgate trim painted and I just fitted that on thursday, makes a big difference to the rear imo.

It was my 18th Last week and I got a dixie horn from the girlfriend! myself and a mate wired it in last saturday and I love it!! My mum got me a private number plate so that will be fitted in the next few weeks got the papers through yesterday so i just need to fill it in and send them off along with my van documents and that

Im also in the process of doing another centre console, silver this time i think?

Anyway enough yabbing, heres some pics





Ohh, and check out my cake!!! (girlfriends birthday on same day, hence her name on it too!) It even had my number plate on it!!

Im getting bored.. What do i do?!

1. Keep the van as a deisel runner and buy another project?

2. Keep the van, save up and convert it?

If i could do both i would!

Another little update to the Van..

Been off the road for the past 2 weeks with no insurance. Got it insured again on friday after work though, happy days!

Few little changes though:

3mm spacers on the rear (cheers Rob 01)
Sanded, treated and re-painted the rear arch lips. they were a little rusty and bugged me.
Fitted a CD holder in the centre console instead of my "cubby hole"
Fitted 1200K HID's (what an improvement to std!!)

Having problems painted my centre console, no matter how much i de-grease and sand them they just wont clean up, keep reacting!! so what do i do, put a standard black one back in, or get it flocked?!
