Good work.
Good work.

Thank you, just the paint thats holding me up now then i can crack on some more.
Had some quotes for the paint that were reasonable so i thought i`d do some of the worst areas of prep to save them time and mostly me money.
O/s B pillar was cracked so welded and filled to the best of my abilities.
O/s quarter and sill in door shut needed some attention too.
The leading edge of bonnet and bootlid had a few scabs so sorted them at the same time.
Chucked a bit of primer on to keep the elements at bay.
So hopefully will be ready for paint very soon. Over the next few weekends i will be painting the door shuts and inner panels satin black to match the inside. This means its easier for the bodyshop to blow it over and save me some more cash too.
Looking goodwas just wondering if you had any info on wiring up the start button and switchs as i have the same panel.
Thanks.
Next up on the list was to get the doors off and sort out the door shuts. I have decided against having the door shuts body colour simply because it was going to incur extra cost and time at the bodyshop, and as this has not got to look factory it was a cheaper option.
First up doors off.
A bit of masking up.
And out with the satin black.
Doors back on now and all adjusted up. Next up is to get the bootlid off and paint inside.
Very small update. Not done much for a bit, took boot off and painted the inside satin black so its all ready to go to body shop. Hopefully being picked up tomorrow for its respray so then i can get on with putting it back together and sticking the polycarbs in.
A few pics as she is prior to paint.

Well i mot`d her on saturday so just tax to do when payday comes round. Few teething problems to sort in the meantime , SLight exhaust blow from joint at manifold to centre section , EML comes on after a couple of mins but no power reduction noted and the rear brakes are working a tad too hard and want to turn the car round when braking. Otherwise im pleased with how she drives.
nice track car .. soon time to have some fun with it
Sorted my rear brakes out in the week, i must have got slightly over-excited when adjusting the rear shoes. Backed them off and all seems ok with them now. Fitted my nortech oil level sensor blank and pushed her out for a wash. Flashed up my eml code today 13 o2 sensor logged which might have been caused by a poor connection on sensor, wont find out till i drive it again, Sorted the exhaust blow aswell this morning so list of jobs left has reduced dramatically.

Well its been a couple of months since i was on here and my list of things to do never got finished off completely. In my haste to get it on the road i thought i`d sorted the rear brake issue but once again after a few miles they wanted to lock up again, so after a trip to the scrappy i liberated a sport of its load valve on the rear axle. A couple of hours later after knocking some pipes up and fabbing a bracket i fitted the load valve and finally she brakes without locking. Not sure why some corsa b`s came with them and some without?? Borrowed a tech one and found out my 02 sensor wasnt going closed loop and was open circuit, popped a new sensor on and all is good now.
Finally i can drive her without the eml on in my face!!!
Gonna start saving now for a new exhaust system as the one fitted is really a temporary one thats outstayed its welcome.
Fitted a whieline 22mm rear roll bar last week and it makes a big difference to how she handles. Sadly my circumstances mean she has to go so she is now for sale in the Mig web classifieds.![]()
was you at the bham street races in this a few weeks back?
