Bloodly hell not having much luck at the minute mate! Improvements make sense tbh, i strongly recommend ditching that throttle bodie while you've got the car in bits and get a Vectra or Cav V6 one because that is causing your wheel spin, i have the same as you and all i did was wheel spin the first 1/8th of a mile due to not being able to feather the throttle, half throttle on them billet ones 90mm iirc is like full throttle on a standard tb, specky and a few others have since ditched them as well, mines going when i get back to the UK before anymore mapping is done. Also my V5 says 1998cc but tbh being 2000cc i think its' still in the same tax bracket

took gregs shell down to beardys today for some welding , while i was there i took my inlet there to have the throttle cable bracket reinforced as i dont want it bending

ds2500 front pads, but the pin that holds the pads in dont fit in with them so need to ring them tomorow

had a mate make up some spacers for me 2 for the alt and one for the backing plate to the oilpump

that will stop well with them pads all round did you find out why the head gasket didnt seal? mine had the same marks as yours, blown between cylinders and number 4 was blowing into end water gallery, so when you give it some it got hot and was pressuring the water system up. i think mine was down to head stud and nut kit not tightend to correct setting and head needed skimming.

no mate we think it wasent tightened up enough as i used sbd's tourque settings but apparentley its not enough, and the block needed decking

was ment to be collecting it tomorow but im busy then so collecting it thursday, spoke to the mapper and going to take a drive down there on sunday so he can lower the limater for me as i have a heavy right foot and dont want anything going wrong this time
