My 1996 Opel Kadett 200is with a Z32SE motor

Hi

Tought I would post some pics of my creation , that was inspired by you guys in the UK .
The first time I saw a project with a V6 in a Astra F i knew I had to do it . My car is still the only one in South Africa with the 3.2 V6 motor . Well it did start with a X25XE

Heres some of the things I have added to the car .

Magnecor Ignition Leads .

New 17" Mags I got end of last year .

New Front Discs , was needed with the 3.2 lmao

Also got Cruise control

Got a Unichip Q+ just needs to be remaped after I do the 63mm exhaust

Heres the Z32se with the X25xe Vectra B intake . Just waiting for the airbox to make it look more original , I dont like the filter we had to put on but its better than nothing . Also got the strut brace with the 3.2 .


Have a 4bar fpr fitted and im still planning on getting a x30xe lower inlet divider and TB . If im lucky enough to win the lotto I will try and get some cams for it .

Is there a difference in the diameter of the 2.5 and 3.0 TB ?

was this not a turbo 200is origionally then? thought they were 5 stud?

bet it pulls very well with the 3.2 any power figures?

No it was a 2l 8v when I got it , so it had 4 stud hubs . Got these figures when I took it for the Unichip Q+ , but the tuner only tuned it till 5500 rpm so I dont think its mapped right . The valves on the intake were also swapped around , but im thinking that I should remove them . Car feels very good with all the torque .

Got my airbox , its the vectra b 2.5 v6 one . Now all I have to do is figure out how it has to be cut to make it fit in the astra . Does anyone know how it has to be cut ?

get an original airbox to compare the bottom shape and depth.

then start cutting a bit at a time until it fits.

200IE 16V was 4 stud as well.
It was only the 200TS with the LET that was 5 stud.

Got the airbox installed , did the timingbelt aswell and I finaly got the correct radiator hose. This is how it looks now .

Going to have it remapped , the valves on the intake were swapped around and my fpr pipe was connected to the wrong reference port . Had a leak on both exhast manifods dont know how that could have affected it but thats sorted aswell now . What performance mods can I do on this motor was thinking about the piper opv6bp270hb cams from the x30xe . Had a 4 bar fpr but was told to remove it since its overfueling with the 216cc injectors , might be a good idea to remap it with the 4bar fpr or sould I stick with the 3bar one ?. Still using a 2.5 TB and lower divider woud a 3.0 TB and lower divider make a noticible difference ?. Want to go to a 63mm exhaust since im still on a 57mm . Give me some ideas guys .

Heres a run I did from 40kph-100kph (24-62mph) in 3rd gear . This was after we sorted the leaks on the exhaust manifolds we fitted the wrong gaskets .

Update:

Sourced a Motronic M2.8.3 with loom just waiting for it to arrive . Then im going to have to Unichip remapped . Does anyone know how the launch Control works on the Unichip ?
