My corsa C20XE roadrally/track car build

Hey guys!!

I`m new to migweb as a member but been scanning through the forums for awhile for info and tips for my new project, so it thought it was about time to join and post what i`ve been up to!

well i decided to get into road rallys and track days over winter after seeing how much fun it is

i was going to buy a 95 civic , but needed alot of work to get going, then this lil corsa came along -

its a 1.2 8v arizona, i`m the second owner, full service history, very clean so grabbed it quickly!

since then i`ve been sourcing bits and bobs for it and stripping it down of all unnessary interior bits etc..

The day i got the car (ignore my scary friend lol)



then got down to chipping away all the bitumen and pulling out the interior :

then i got my OMP rollcage and rear strut brace





in the pics its only trial fitted, had to remove the sunroof and in the process of making brackets to hold the glass in place without interfering with the cage.

to do list:

rebuild the c20xe -

buckets and harness -

256mm astra gsi brakes - need to fit

finish collecting the rest of the pieces needed for the conversion

polycarb windows -

new wheels urgently lol

Hopefully get this all done buy the summer
