The Start


okay so when i bought Dæmon in 2005 it was bog standard 1.3 8v.. didn't even have a radio. so the first thing i did was purchase some decent sound.. i dont have any decent pics of must of the things now but as i go i will take more pics.
The motor


Next up was a set of mags

at the time i really liked these but soon decided they were crap.. very wrong offset for the corsa.. et32 they are always rubbing badly.. if i drop the back by 60mm with these on i wont be able to drive at all.. also the clear coat is chipping off everywhere and they just look ugly!!

I also had the exhuast done around the same time 57mm stainless steel free flow.. did't have cash for the branch(which was dumb but i wanted it to sound nice) which it did!! followed by a digital rev gauge and shift light.. boyracer yes.. seeing peoples surprised faces when the shift light comes on as you go past them.. priceless:laugh:---- GONE NOW----
After that there were some small changes which included vauxhall badges, new gearboot colour coded headunit surround, red park globes etc..
since then the badges have been removed..

From the time i bought the car i decided that i was going to do a C20XE conversion.. i spoke to people on the opel owners club SA forum to find out more about it.. until i came across a man known as CORSANOSTRA.. and this is when he helped me decide on the Z18XE.. his car is one hell of a monster!!!
A 1.8 ecotec turbo pushing out 370 odd kilowatts at the wheels.. The fastest (but not the most powerful) street legal opel corsa in SA

decided to tackle the task of reupholstering my interior.. starting with the back seat (the bit you sit on) as its the easiest to get out.. then will move onto the the bit you lean on and then eventually the front seats and door cards..

I'm going to be using vinyl, as leather is a bit too expensive. will redo them in the future if i am really not happy with the vinyl..
So black vinyl for the outer bits, black perforated vinyl for the inserts (where the lame pattern is) and a red piping (still deciding where its gonna go, any opinions?).

started a little earlier and what a damn mission!! there are like 66 little clips that i had to take out to get the fabric away from the sponge seat (they don't show that sh!t on pimp my ride :laugh::laugh: )..

Ye or as we call them kadett 200ts Rims, origionally 5 stud but been converted to 4 stud, that corsa is my friends 1.8 8v turbo making 165kw atw on low boost at 1700m above sea level

We know that engine as X18XE1 the new Z18XE has an electronic flyby wire throttle not that it matters.

What exhaust manifold do you have?

Love the silver one did we have that wheel option over here or was it just 5 stud

Nope defintitely Z18XE came with flyby wire, converted it to cable, less work to make it work!

Had a custom manifold made up.

That was a 5 stud, been converted to four stud to fit

What computer has you on your engine? Z18XE or X18XE1?
Is the throttle body from X18XE1?

Throttle body is the 1.6 16v astra g, cable type.

thanks dude!! unfortunately not leather, went for the cheaper option incase i ****ed up big time!!

the banded steels, drop and the rest of the exterior are on the list, need gsi skirts, front bumper and a standard spoiler..
