Did you get the TX intercooler kit? They are very straight forward to fit mate. Should have came with a fitting guide.

This is my first turbo too but have mine for nearly 5 years. They are great big cars! Huge boot for camping holidays or when we go to haven.

got a quote today for powder coatin £50 a wheel thats not to bad im going grey now after southie done a photoshop so i could see what they look like. so hopefully there be done very soon!!!!

aint be on for a while the 1 bill i forgot to pay was the internet so i plan on workin on project zafira tomoro lol after findin no 1 to help me with my fmic i have decided so try it my self so here's some pics before it goes on the car....











the missus was not happy that i had it all on the brand new freshly laid carpet but never mind also a bloke that comes into work that does all our gear boxes and clutch's saw my car and said he had a pre cat that he brought for his mates car and the day it got delivered his mate was in such a hurry to go and get it he over cooked a roundabout a write his nice zafira gsi off so i have brought that for £50 BARGIN slowly but surley gettin there the wheels are next on the list. hope u enjoy the thread i gotta get the hell outta dodge to play the xbox

after spending half hour at the side of a road car jacked up bumper off because one of the intercooler pipes popped off was not happy. went to work and used the mot ramp to make sure they were all done up tight(and get rinsed by my work mates for the pipe comin off in the first place) anyway also done a oil change at the expence of kwikfitlmaolmao i set out to change the coolent modual but gave up in the end just wanted to get out of work after all it was my day off. i am pritty pleased with the outcome(even tho a pipe popped off) me and my mate managed to put it on not bad for our first attempt.

I'd take that cone off if I were you, they suffer bad from heat soak and you will get better gains from a de-restricted airbox and vectra c intake pipe. I'll get a pic of mine and show you what I mean.

Cheers mate it was lower but it was far to stiff and bounced all over the place i was gonna get it rr'd for £25 but i want to make sure its runnin spot on especialy after what zafgsi said.

Colder the air the better mate. In reality you probably wont notice but it all helps

As you can see the vectra intake pipe is wider and allows a better airflow. To de-restrict the airbox you take the lid off and remove the pipes that are inside the box.

The cdti or 2.2 petrol airbox mods are good too, if not better. They will do away with the metal pipe that crosses over the engine and go striaght to the turbo. If you went down this route you would need to extend the AFM wires.
