Really impressive, I'm watching this thread closely.

We've ran the fuel lines got the throttle cable, clutch cable connected. But now the fuel lines are too long and they're hanging on the floor under the car, is there a way to shorten them?
Metal or rubber?
They look/feel like there made out of plastic with about 10cms of rubber pipe on the end that connects to the engine.... But we cant take anything off that end as it kinks the blue pipe needs to be off the other petrol tank end![]()
Deciced to have a tinker with the car this morning, we cut the panel bit out of the door and boot, we'll do the bonnet and the other door tomorrow, I did take some pictures but ofcourse my phone won't work with my pc....Tomorrow we'll hopefully finish the door/bonnet weight reduction, maybe clean the cam cover ready for some paint, figure out where the rest of the wiring loom goes lmao.
We'll see what tomorrow brings![]()
We did the other door, got all the red paint off the dash, got the cam cover off, but know we've lost the little paint removing attachment for the drill thing, the garage door is broken so we cant really do that much![]()
Watching this thread as im doing the same conversion in my car

What phase mounts is your car on mate. Im unsure what engine mount i need you see for my engine. Im on phase 1, and have heared that the mount from the engine will bolt straight to it. Unsure if thats true though.
Any more pictures mate.
Liam
That mount that i linked before is the mount we used and it fits perfectly, ours has no powersteering or a/c, think the ones with powersteering are different not sure though, i'll put some pictures up as soon as i get my phone to work with my pc :P
We've painted the cam cover, it's blue for now, just some old paint I found in the cupboard, it looks nice though, it's not heat resitant will it flake off? When the engine is running/up to temp?
Well I figured out how to get my phone to work with my pc, so here's an updateRob brought a starter button because the key is forked, it'll only unlock the steering, so we wired that up pushed the button....Nothing.... So I said turn the wires round so we turned them around, pushed the button....Clunk, starter motor, the sound of joy. We're so happy that we got a reward finally! Just need an exhaust so we don't destroy the neighbours hearing... Here are some pictures

That's all for today, got college rest of the week and Lox3n's working so won't be much progress till next week.
We've taken one of the windows out, removed the spare wheel well ready to well a flat plate across it, need an exhaust so we can see if she'll start. Then we'll be after some hubs and shafts.
We've welded over the where the wheel well was, not much progress been to busy, hopefully get some more work done on it soon, anyone got an exhaust we can have? :P We've got the manifold and down pipe... :/
Update time ....
New rear lights, removed the rear wiper and sorted some rust and dents around the hole got some filler on itRemoved the petrol filler cap welded a plate in and got some filler on it and had abit of a tidy in the garage. Need more space such a pain moving so much when you want to get it and out then it starts raining ... hence the big plastic bag on the windscreen
