    Corsa B 1995

Heyy been on here a bit now and picked up my first ever corsa 2 weeks ago.
Its a Corsa B 1994 merit 1.2 8v in Red. Tax and MOT untill end of Febuary.

The car is pretty solid and the paint is in good condition for the year, i was expecting it to have faded by now as its 16 years old now.

Here are some pictures of the car just after i got it home.

First things first it has no rev counter so i am picking up a interior loom tomorrow to sort that out. Also picking up a set of vauxhall alloys tomorrow which will be going black.

    So plans are :

    Fit interior loom
    Spray the wheels black
    Fit central locking
Fit my 1.4 16v untill i source a bigger engine
    Colour code bumpers and wingmirrors
Weld the hole in the boot
Polish the car up and get it looking sweet
    New metal pressed plates

Got loads of plans really cant think of them all.

    Pictures to follow

    Re: Corsa B 1994

Thanks daz i appreciate that mate. Is that car lowered at all.

Will i get a good finish if i spray the plastic bumpers and wing mirrors mate.
Just been offered a good deal on a engine too.

X18XE engine, loom and ECU for £250
What else will i need for the conversion ??
Obviously a gearbox but i can get them easy.
What driveshafts will i need ??

Also would i have to uprate my fuel pump or is the 1.2 pump capable ??

    Re: Corsa B 1994

Im getting my bumpers done which are exactly the same by a local body shop and the bumpers will look like the rest of the paint on the car. but i dont think it will with the spray cans from halfords. and yeah that car has been lowered and i guess the wing mirrors would come out the same if its done proffesionally or with a gun i guess

not sure on the engine bits mate lol

Not sure what black to have the wheels and door handles etc

Hopefully i can get the 1.2 8v lump out today and the loom etc (see how the weather is)

Anybody got any opinions on what black i can use on my wheels, i dont fancy it too ''shiny'' but not ''matt'' either

You'll need a fuel pump off a mpi engined Corsa/Tigra. The 1.2 spi pump won't be man enough.
