Thanks for the comment mate. Umm you have made me think now, might do them grey, do a red, black and grey theme. Suprised how big they actually are compared to the standard ones. Im deffo doing my wheels black but still aint decided what colour haa. Vauxhall black im thinking but not sure if theres more than one code for them.

Anyone know the code(s) for vauxhall black ??

    Re: Corsa B 1994

    Little update .......

Managed to get an hour on the car today, put the driveshafts back in, bolted hubs up and also got the lowered shocks and springs in, not all torqued up yet but in. Still need to fit my new track rod ends and connect the ball joints. Leaving the standard brakes on for now untill after the MOT, then ill have a play about. Also managed to get my middle section of the exhaust in and bolted up too, back box does not fit though, the diametres are the same grrrr. Here are some pictures.

Just been to fit my back box to my s/s middle section and they are both the same diametre grrr. So im going to try my mates standard gsi back box with it see if that fits if not i will have to fit the full gsi standard exhaust to it. Hopefully get the car back on its wheels today to see how the stance is on the front, im getting excited haa.

Thanks mate. Started the engine earlier and ticks over lovely, bit tappety but theres ****ty oil in there at the moment, will change it this week. Also there seems to be a very loud whining noise when the engine is started, unsure of what this is, as it was not there when i turned it over first but appeared about 20 minutes after i started it the second time.

Also hoping to have the car back down on the wheels later so if i do i shall get a picture of how it stands at the moment at the front.

I really aint got a clue what it could be. At first i thought it could be my gearbox as theres no fluid in there at all, but its not in gear or nothing so im not sure. It is very loud and out of the ordinary though. Any other suggestions mate.

Will post pictures up of my car back on wheels shortly, just got to upload them but cant find my usb lead.

Here are some pictures of the front end lowered, rear end is still standard. Where the back wheel is sat there is a step if all the car was level it will drop a touch more i think. Unsure if these shocks/springs have to bed in or if they are already, im not sure. What you think ??

Haa thats a good old volkswagon steel, sure its off a beetle haa. Thats just surface rust on the cross mate, as its exposed now with the rain aswell it dont look too impressive, will be sorting all that out in the next few weeks.

Imagine driving around like that nose diving be unreal, cant wait to get the back ones done now and see what its like, im very happy though i must say.

Yehh i was suprised with the paintwork when i bought it, was expecting a pink one haa, its not in best of condition but its still bright, looks a bit orange in the pictures but nicer in flesh obviously.

Thanks for the comments anyways. Ohh and i may be picking a donor car up on sunday ........

its a vw golf wheels i think, i got the front end off on my car aswell, dont really want to leave it off for to long, dont want it too rust like what yours has, yh will look good once you get the backs done

what donor car you getting and are you sticking to the plan of putting a x18xe in it??

I can have a cavalier sri for next to nothing really, its a 2.0 8v but unsure if its a c20ne or a 20seh engine. A local mechanic has it in his unit and its being scrapped due to rotton shell etc and aint got the time for it. So going up tomorrow to start it and drive it, and if its a good engine ill be having it, will take what i need and then strip and sell to cover the cost, so a free engine really if i get it, only downfall is he wants the gearbox back but thats nothing.

These engines are meant to be the strongest vauxhall built im trying to do research into them but need to find out which engine it is first, shall check tomorrow.
