Yehh was just looking at a project and was lowered 40mm and looked nowhere near as low as yours, unless he was using standard shocks, with lowered shocks aswell it drops that bit more. I really need to get mine fitted like. Give it a week or two now till it starts warming up ill crack on then.

5 stud conversion would involve an engine chance as well so you could have better wheels, bigger brakes and more power

Yup! that is the plan the car wont be used much after the summer as i'll be using the train everyday so should give me the chance to get an engine and lots of other little bits done whilst it's sat on the drive.

Not bad mate, i cant really comment on the engine as i have never drove one or been in one. Being a 2ltr though will be a nice difference from what you have mate.

    *****UPDATE*****
Rightio! havent updated this in a while.

The car has now got its new badge on the front .. only picture i have of it is a "before" picture of the engine bay.

The bay is getting a spring clean and polished so that it all looks good for PVS. and generally cleaning the inside so that everything looks clean!

Heres the only picture i have of the badge on the car.

EDIT: Also have some new Xenon bulbs coming for it too!

Yeah it is lol i feel like i wanna go out and do it every day and then when i decide i am going to i just cant be bothered lol!

    Any ways a little update!

The car was hit a few weeks ago by a mate was pure accident and just scratched up the rear arch so hes paying for it to be re-sprayed. It will be taken down the body shop tomorrow to have the arch re-painted then there will be a few photos of it.

I got a new interior light that is really bright white looks very cool however once you have sat in the dark for a while then turn it on its VERY bright!! lmao

Got some 5000k xenon headlight bulbs coming as well to match the white lights at the front. I would have bought HID's but apparently with my angel eyes it melts the casing lol!!

Will post pics of it all when they are here!!

    *****UPDATE*****
    Ok update time again!!!!!

Right well, a picture of the interior light:

It was in day time but at night that thing is stupid bright!!!! lmao

Having fitted a stereo like last year i had run hte usb wire to the ashtray but ive now extended it and ran it to here:

I will me making a proper blank to hold it in so it looks like its supposed to be there!

Also a while ago i changed the gear knob to this one off of a Corsa Sport.

Also the other day i removed the rear badge as i wanted to get a new one, i just need to get a photo of the new one.

Me and my mates went up the scrappy the other day and there was an astra coupe so i ran over and nicked the side repeaters and added them to the corsa! i think they make a bit of a difference oddly lol.

Also a photo of the interior as it is at the moment. currently looking for new seats and bits and bobs.

sorry for the naff pictures but i cant get the good ones off of the other camera as i can't find the cable
    Hope you guys like it!

Re: The Corsa Project. (**Long Term**)

lol yeah i've been busy to be honest :P side repeaters do change it in a wierd way lol. The plan is to get some Veccy recaro gsi seats as they still have the 3 door mechanism and look really good, my dads got some in his vectra and they are so comfortable and hug you really well, i was thinking about the cally leather but it doesnt look like it would hold me aswell as the gsi seats!

Re: The Corsa Project. (**Long Term**)

Yehha good choice. I have cav sri seats here that are lovely fair play really comfy and hug you like you said but as they came from a 5 door car they dont have the mechanism so that went down the drain haa. Would have loved to fitted them though.

lol, nah stick to the GSi ones with the mechanism, i have 5 door astra seats in my other corsa and before it was put off the road i was gettimg fed up with having to wind forwards, back, forwards, back, plus your seating position is always fecked
