    *****UPDATE*****

    I thought I'd share a few photos.

Car has been running great and I've really fallen in love with it since I've been out and really using it to enjoy rather than commuting

A local meet the saturday Billing would have been:

and Monday me and a couple of mates went out for a drive so they got a few rolling shots for me

Oh and saw this when we were filling up:

Sounded incredible! Can't wait for my step dads to be on the road

    *****UPDATE*****

As some of you know, I've been doing some changes this week to mainly the wiring.

To be honest for the length of time it took I wish I hadn't started but finally got it done

This is how the bay was:

I didn't like the wiring that went across to the coil and the one that came down from the battery to the light so I decided it had to go.

    Late night impulse start:

The next day I went off to the scrappy to get some bits to help me out.

Whilst I was there I bought a new loom to use to extend it colour for colour and also got a tigra scuttle and new wiper arms for the bargain price of £7 for the lot!!

    So on went those.

Then carried on with the wiring:
The whole front loom cut out

    during:

I then relocated the coil as I didn't want it over where it was.

I didn't like it like that so I changed the can:

    to this:

(cutting that did spray me in the face  )

    Fitted:

So then I got a few photos of the whole thing as it was:

    Then I carried on today:

    Alarm speaker relocated:

    yay wiring:

    And now reasonably back together:

During all that I've changed the route for all the wiring that goes anywhere down the front end. I also changed the fan on the radiator and mounted the radiator further forward to try and cool it down a bit

Got a few more bits to do this week before Trax but it's getting there and was good to here it run again and see everything worked first time :!

Ah now that i like. Wiring looks much better as does the coil. When not get a nice slim line fan (or a mk4 astra AC fan better and cheaper) and mount it on the front of the rad.. Removes the ugly fan from the bay that way...

    Thanks Benn

I'm hoping to get a new radiator towards the end of the year so I'll be getting a couple of smaller slimline fans for that which will be sat in front of it but yeah I have though of something like that, cheers

Nice, look at the Astra AC fan tho. It's got enough power (with cowling removed) to lift it's self off the ground.. And cools a rad to luke warm in about 5sec.

Re: The Corsa Project. (**Long Term**)

Well, last week the car was juddering around at 2K revs and making it sound like it was losing power to the spark and also misfiring.

I thought it was coil related and wiring again but there wasn't any signs in that so I tried to make it do it to get the EML on which eventually happened.

I then flashed the fault up on the EML and got the code for Hall Effect Sensor (low voltage)

So decided I'd try a new distributor first.

Picked one up last night off of SteveoBC along with a new rocker cover

So here's a few photos to stop boring you all with words

    Degreased the new Dizzy:

    Then sprayed it up.

Took the old one out and obviously the new seal was working as it got oil everywhere

    Fitted

and then a photo of the new rocker:

That'll be getting sprayed WELL this time

Thanks to Steve for the bits.
