Cheers Th0m45, yeah it helped quite a bit. Although a ply lined rear is just as good, maybe better. But seeing as im not really carying anything didnt see the need.

Got more done tonight, my cousin ryan had been looking for half leather recaro's for his vectra b. But couldnt find any in the right condition/price/or without being at the other end of the country, so i said he could have mine. (with the intention of using his sxi front seats in the van) but something else came up... pics on monday.

My new abs pump and module arrived yesterday, fitted it today (wasnt nearly as bad as i had previously thought, just alot of stuff to remove first to gain access) So im back to having fully working brakes
Adjusted the handbrake, might sand the drums again and give them a fresh coat of paint when ive time.

Im taking the van to total vauxhall at knockhill on sunday, so wanted to give it a good clean

Got started on yesterday afternoon, got soaked washing it/jet washing the arches, and cleaning the alloys.

Put it inside the shed, and dried off. Removed the back drums and cleaned them up. Decided to thin some hammerite down and spray them rather than brush (look really good)


Next was a polish and wax, then some photos today:

And finally.. the new seats! (Tried cleaning them, but there still a bit grubby. Wet vac is in order)

I had an incident with a skoda at a junction a few weeks ago, resulting in this:


She hit me, but as i was over the line i technically wasnt giving way Van was only paint damage and a scuff on the headlight. Her car needs 2 doors, maybe a wing and the quarter painted.

So i polished the scuff out the headlight:


I had bought a std bumper in may, and given it a fresh coat of paint. So i fitted that, and sold the prodrive bumper to my mate paul for his sxi.

Planning a mk5 diesel as a daily kev, and no doubt another wee project to keep me busy (but ive no immediate plans for that yet)
