    Viva HB 16V

Ive been floating round here for ages not posting much, so Id better put some pics up of the Viva. Plans are to restore the shell, escort back axle (easy to get an LSD), C20XE with R1 carbs and megajolt, type 9 gearbox and whatever else comes up along the way...

    Re: Viva HB 16V

specks, Im not sure where it is now, I think the guy took the engine out so its probably tucked away in a garage somwhere...

got a bit more done to the Viva, started to repair the hinge panel. It had 2 patches over it and then a layer of fiberglass.... awsome repair.
cut it all out and put in some new steel. Still got the reinforcement plate to make for the back but thats the hard bit done. Ive still got to repair the front bit around the headlight but I need a repair panel for that as its a bit much to bash out os flat steel!!!

    Re: Viva HB 16V

Not trying to hijack this thread but it has awakened a long lost memory of how we had in our household this Vauxhall Viva HA, I remember how we had to really push it to get it going as it had no bigger than 1100 cc engine if i can recall correctly oterwise it was just under a thousand cc.

and here is another image of it obtained from google images

and also had a Vauxhall Victor 101, which was aparently the worst car we had ever owned, but still it has brought some menories from the late 60sand early 70s

you can say i am a bona fide Vauxhall fan!!
