Looking good mate. The 1.0 car loom is different to other Corsas and a f*cking nightmare to get it to match up to XE loom.

As for the pulley - next time use a 3-legged puller, it will pop the pulley off in 5 seconds they are MINT (thanks Gaz lol)

Car is looking great im just about to do an arden blue one myself with a LET

    Re: shortys valver

easy option as you have the dash out is to replace the dash loom for a 16v one.

RE three legged puller, I can't find mine for ****! good job I haven't needed it lol

Good work there with the bulk head mate, looks good. Ive been wanted to take my bulk head away but will have nowhere for the black scuttle sheet to sit on.

    Keep up the work mate.

id go around your "cut out" with a file, then paint the edges, otherwise it will rust away in no time.

Good stuff, bit of rust creeping through by the gearbox mount. Is that fresh or did you not treat it before you painted it mate. Having the battery in the boot frees up quite a bit of room in the bay dont it

ano, i just gave it a rub down and painted it, never treated it, it will be coming back out in the summer to get all rubbed down treated and strengthend up!! putting the shaft and brakes on just now, just so i can move it and that.

i mate, the room i have above the gearbox now is mental compared to my other corsa's i have had

You should have just drilled them out in the first place, then you wouldn't have needed the puller. Had the same problem on mine where previous owner had used a hex bit on the bolts and rounded them off. I took a drill to them and went in quite deep. The centre of the bolt just collapsed, allowing the bolt to be wound out with pliers.
