Astra Van Zlet Conversion

Well i've been looking for one now, on and of for a year or two and have never really found one with everything that work's or with out all the warning lights on the dash lmao

So here goes

Bought this a few weeks ago, 56,000 miles full history. I don't think the guys wife was very happy when i told him what i was doing with it lmao




And now the van
54 plate with aircon and abs so thats a lot work allready done for me




Going to strip the van the on saturday with a bit of luck and then the fun begins

Good shout that mate buying a full car for the conversion, i started my second z20let van about 3 months ago after buying a conversion kit with loads of parts missing and now i cant get hold of the parts to finnish the project so its sat on my front rotting away LOL, you could have that done in a weekend if you get stuck in, keep us posted

So your only using the engine, Is your van already 5 stud, As it might be worth while changing them better brakes and better choice of wheels.

What about the bumper and skirts ive never seen a coupe bump on a van, I think it will look alright.
And then theres the clocks and maybe the electric wind mirrors as they look like a different shape.

Would it not be worth chucking the old engine from the van back into the coupe and flogging it as a complete car?

I think i have worded it wrong i will be putting

The engine and gearbox all the wiring looms full suspension all the seats and dash, clocks so their will not be a lot left O i've all so got a gsi turbo front bumper and 19in vxr wheels

i love mk4 vans, just bought a snotty old lpg one myself as a runabout, bet i end up doing some form of modifications to it at some point though, its very hard to resist with vauxhalls, lol

is it a 2.0 diesel engine you have for sale ? also got a mate with a smashed coupe who is interested in reshelling his astra so how much for the bare shell and whatever is left ?
