lmao I've got one for my Astra too, and I've no idea why. I think so far all I've looked up were the torque figures for the subframe to shell bolts. lmao

Yeah, for some reason behind the dash is a massive unpainted steel beam that runs across the width of the car.

Done the last of the big jobs on the Mondeo today; sourced a new alloy wheel from Mondeo Spares in Stoke, and had all four balanced with an actual calibrated balancing machine (unlike last time lmao ).

So now I can do 68mph, 69mph and even 70mph without wobble! Woop! It wasn't bad before, but I could feel it, and it was annoying me. Also put a new oil cooler thermostat on it, so now it warms up like it should instead of over-cooling all the time. Woop! Getting there!

Just need to sort my cruise control out, then I think we're about done. Touch wood (trim).

I think the only thing i have used mine for so far was to check antifreeze ratios lmao.

Ah, thought it was rust already unfortunately ford dont seem to have learned how to make rot free cars. Looking good though.............cant wait till the day i own a "newish" car lol

It's a strange experience, but I like it. It's nice being able to sit at 70mph in sixth gear with the climate control on, a good song playing...

Got fed up of not being able to see down country lanes in the dark, so I purchased some pretty decent spot lights for the old bus.

    Nice and subtle. lmao

It's a bit Mad Max, but I don't care. You can't see them when they're off as they're behind the grille.
