    2.0 16v ecotec into Corsa B type 2.... Mounting...

As above, putting a 2 litre ecotec into my corsa B after dropping a valve in my C16XE.

I have bought the engine & loom, the CV joint inners and have GSI driveshafts. The engine does have power steering so I am looking to take this off and use a shorter belt.

I am told I can use two of the engine mounts I have already, i.e. rear and passenger side, but need a conversion bracket for the front drivers side mount, as it recesses into the wing.

I am on a very tight budget so looking to avoid expensive parts where possible - where am I best getting hold of one of these? After looking on ebay I notice kits can be £150 - £300, and am looking to avoid spending this at all costs!!!

Are there any mounts from other models which can be used? Or anyone pretty good with a welder who is happy making me one? Or anybody bought one that they do not use?

you sorta posted in the wrong section but nevermind

have you looked in the forsale section? theres always a few corsas about being broken.

Another cheapish option is to PM 'rallyman' on here, he'll do you a good deal on the brackets you require and p/s bracket too.
