right then!! as i have a few projects on the go i thought i would start a little thread!

today

started to get some work done on the range rover offroader!!



it was a fuel injected engine but the ecu wouldnt fire the injectors !! so
i had a set of carbs laying around! bolted them on, cut all the fi loom out and she fired up first time!!

then grim reaper turned up so the micing began!!!lol

grim cleaned all the crap off the floors so the seats could be fitted while i went to get said seats,radiator,pas pump,carb fuel pump and hoses from my other lockup!

then put the GTE recaro's in to see how thay fitted!!

fuel pump on and fired it up again and is now running sweet!!

that was basicaly it for today!! tomorow a bit more on that and some engine sergery for my 200sx!!


then maby pick up the new purchase thursday!!(secret project till thurs!!lol)

no pics today but
got the oil light and battery light wired up and the temp gauge! on the offroader

done a little welding on the 200sx and made the final arangements to collect the new project tomorrow!!

well then

today was a bit slow!!

got the dash wired up and working!! so i now have a temp gauge,oil light and batt light!!



then got round to cutting some steel and welding the seats in!


made the seat sit back by puting the tallest steel at the front!! driving persition is realy nice now!


also made the exhaust!! but needs modding as its far to quite!! the carb noise is louder than the exhaust!
u can see it pointing straight up!!lol needs a smaller silencer tho!!lmao

finaly got my redtop corsa on the road and running properly!!lol







also have hi-spec 4 pots,fk coilovers,bucket seats and stip the interior tomorow!!!

the aim is to build a quick(ish) track day car on a budget!! lol so far with the parts above and buying the car it has cost mo £980!!
will eventualy be on r1 carbs when funds allow!!lol and have a full cage made in the new year!
