Been a while since the last update, but not done any big jobs as its been too cold. However, we've done one little job.
One thing I've never been a fan of in the Mk1 is the rear wash/ wipe switch being low down on the dash.
As with all our other cars it's push back on the washer stalk, so with a bit of wiring and a stalk from a Mk2 Nova, bargain £2 from Billing. I now have it as it should be:
looks very nice and very tidy, keep up the good work!
I always like seeing older Vauxhalls given a refresh especially when using original and improved parts.
Are you keeping the wing mounted aerial or going bee-sting?
Ive a digi dash that would go lovely in her too.
i lovvvvvve this, takes my back to my first sr's
concidered adding the black/dark drey bottom half of the doors wings and quarters? would really finish it off imo
some people go down the big power route, others down the track day route, others with wild styling.
yours has well chosen and expertly executed mods in all areas, i like that kind of modifying. the sum of all the additions make it better a better nova than most, its one of my favourites, kudos to you
first time i have see this thread. top work so far.
ive got a completly standard one owner from new mk1 1.3sr as a daily driver while im doing my calibra project and they rule. in some ways i wish i had found my nova before i started on the calibra so i could the few jobs it needs.
keep up the good work
