Yep its dobby had a great chat with kev and cheryl, exchanged total Vauxhall feature stories and cavalier tales lmao and his cav turbo was there looking very sexy. This vectra really has had everything it ever needed, got packets and packets of main dealer Vauxhall receipts, its been a no expensie spared car
sounds alot of people were after it too, including our very own tom williams

    Phase 2 Cav Turbo

Re: Ronnie's New Family Car - Cavalier GSI :)

too true , every car kev and cherly has gets snapped up quickly , maybe because people know they are looked after and they are vauxhall nutters lmao
not bought one of him myself (yet) but i did sell him my old v6 cavalier which ended up also in Ireland , was very tempted to buy it back when it was for sale but the cost of fetching it back from over there was not within my budget at the time , but was tempted ut too many cars you have to say do i need another

Nothing new in that though. TBH €720 is pretty much the minimum so your lucky they didn't ask for more.
Im sure it will be fun with the NCT doing the VRT checks

Re: Ronnie's New Family Car - Cavalier GSI :)

its ****ty, its booked in next monday for nct inspection. the cavalier will be standing me 4400 yo yo's when cleared. i dunno can i justify that and another 18k in the cossie sitting outside and wont even do 4k miles between them for the year. i thought vrt would only be half of what they are asking.

You should have checked it first mate, takes about 2 minutes on ros.ie
€720 is the minimum for old stuff though since they dont have a co2 per km figure from the factory they automatically put it in at the 36% rate

Re: Ronnie's New Family Car - Cavalier GSI :)

the car cost me 2500 sterling which at the time cost 3150 euro and i paid 450 to get it shipped back from the uk. i have also got power steering belt tightened as was squealing and few other bits done. thats 3600 euro spent and for sale for 4250. i say no offers as dont want people emailing and texting offers of half of what i paid for car as this is what everyone is at since recession took its toll. if i got what i paid for the car i would sell for that amount. im not out to make a profit on the car i just need to free up funds. check the price of sterling in august and haulage prices of ipswich to west of ireland and im sure ronnie will tell you i paid the full asking price of 2.5k so this car was not bought to turn a few bob !!! peoples circumstances change daily and im no exception. as my add says " very regrettable sale "
