bloody love this GTE!
car had tax and mot friday ready for coombe saturday 9th april, so just made it lol. I had advisory on rear wheel bearing play and n/s track rod end play. failed on corroded rear disks and no brake lights. New rear bearings, pads and disks were fitted along with a new brake light switch. As it stands i need a new track rod end and a retrack which ill sort.
Dad the work, and gave it a snowfoam before heading to coombe. if anyone has pics of it post them up on this thread please. When the disks were done the abs rings werent fitted i need new abs rings (reluctor rings) on the rear, anybody know where i can get these? this weekend will just be finishing off odd jobs, ill update when i can.

cheers guys, not done alot lately just fitted a new y piece hose and chrome rear water pipe, my bonnet vents are off now and going to be painted satin black. Plan is just to finish off the paintwork for now. fair do's this was a pig to fit lol.
small update not really done alot lately just few bits i bought from billing, new boot lifters new interior clock, ive just been doing shows with it really. i had a new manifold which was given to me which i fitted on the weekend, used new studs/nuts/gasket/donought washer/new bolts at the flange. Manifold was a exact fit which was given to me by a friends uncle not sure on the make but its well constructed.
Tickets arrived for coombe today so will be out with car saturday. The manifold really has opened the car up a little a definate improvement just need a system built now. thanks for looking.
sourced two new relucter abs rings too so abs is working again, also bonnet vents are now satin black not to everyones taste but i think they work on this car. Future plans include more paint and exhaust system.
not done much lately except for remove the boot vinyl, took ages with a heatgun, going to get it painted satin black over xmas sometime. will sort pics soon.

i was going to keep it all white but since decided against this, im going to get brother in law to paint it satin black over x mas then down to body shop in new year for all the paint to be finished. gotta source rear decals then. cheers for comments/looking.
i have a roof spoiler for it which ill get fitted aswell.
As in get the "boot plastic" but painted on? If so do it!

Booked in for march 1st, for the final bit of painting. Powercap and induction hose have turned up and will be fitted in the next few weeks.

Fitted the powercap arrangement. sourced a roose induction hose, really happy with the result. New donought washer, new induction hose, new powercap gasket, courtenay powercap hose, powercap painted from blue to flame red.
