i said that to rob earlier if he's got summat else thats paying the bills well
then he's not going to focus attention to this "sideline" as it now appears to be.
all well and good him wanting to keep control of everything but clearly not good
    business sense for his company/customers

i might knock summat else together soon having found new parts/methods that should work very well for the outlay.
dam i just did a locked box for someone that was so easy to do it was untrue.
i have a idea of how/where to fit a brace to the txb to help it stay together
only looking around the 380bhp mark anyway so not massive go but just nice.

Project now ended. A general realization that i am will be unfortunately unable to get enough time to use the car once its done and its just a expensive statue that would lay in the garage for roughly 360 days a year. I cannot justify using leave to do track days and rwyb days. All bits for sale, any interest in parts not yet listed please pm me.

That took slightly longer than I expected, I thought it would be broke a few months ago, so fair play for holding out a bit longer than predicted lmao

    Fair plays Rick.

It takes courage of your convictions to decide enough is enough, especially when your peers haven't sunk as much time/money into what is still esentially a crap shopping car, as you have.

I'm in two minds and mine is nothing compared to yours but if I am being honest it was the car I wanted 5 years ago. Times move on, so does a persons perception. There is more to life than crappy Vauxhalls.
You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many things wrong.

Are you on about his nova, or this corsa, or the next one?

TBH Wayne i should have chopped it all in when i broke the nova. But i thought "o lets give the LET one more chance".

The more i look at it the less i want to be out in a corsa so i would only use it for track days which would only probably be 5 days a year at most and thats work permitting. If i was in my old job i would keep the car, i was at home every night and got chance to do what i wanted when i wanted. Now i have to cram everything into 2-4 days off after a trip.

    predictable!

Buy something nice and enjoy it.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"
