good to see you got one, when you picking it up and progressing with the striping of it?

Going for it at half 3 and i might start stripping the interior out tonight. Going for a slightly different plan with this one. Going to try and strip the interior out but keep it as a driver so i can drive it to jays to have the cage welded in and then drive it home. Should be able to do that all been well but we will see how things work out. Cannot really be bothered having to trailer it here there and everywhere.

just fit a single seat and dash in. ask jay to take dash out when he puts cage in?
don't need dash in to drive it anywhere. the wires are fine dangling about; been there, done that. Plus Rick, if you want to remove all that crap on the floor again, the dash'll need to come out anyway.

That was the plan, zip tie the clocks to the column bracket. Will leave the heater matrix in for now as i cannot be arsed dicking about with repiping the engine + its to cold to drive anywhere without heaters.
Car will be a shell like before, but just a drivable shell! Will make sure fuel tank is removed this time lmaolmaolmao

its got a sunroof!
can you get away with that, or has it got to be plated up or..........?
Back in the scene
nice one rick, the sunroofs no biggy i'm sure you can handle itnow come on get out there and strip the bugger lmao
Ive seen quite a few sunroof panels replaced with a exact carbon fibre replica panel bonded in that looks good, better than a sheet of metal pop rivetted on, IMHO..
good good early start in the morning then![]()
Can't you just weld a piece in the hole?![]()
Teeth? LUXURY! When I was a child we ate by putting rocks in our mouth and jumping up and down.
Same, but a guy i know had a sunroof blank(and f&r door cards) done for his 306 and you can see thru the weave, the gel coat has been badly put on and the edges are very badly cut/trimmed. Very piss poor.
Its getting it weeled in well with out a lot of filler, the roof skin is very very very thin. Be alot better to bond a bit of something in.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
I was looking at the performance trim door cards and roof skin. Will now have to think it over.

usually only A/C models that have no sunroof, one or the other you see, how did you drop a bollock BTW?
does the engine run ok? how much you want for some of the sensors and AFM of it?

Wouldnt fit a whole roof, big waise of cash, just get a pannel to bond in.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
why didnt you email the person that was listing the corsa and ask if it had a sunroof before you bought it?
still a nice little car though.
Dirrrrty dog!
