Track day corsa turbo build

TBH i cannot see it been on the road this year now. Lack of time off work and going to New York in mid December eating up a considerable amount of monies so the corsa is low on the list..

Thats a shame, does it need to be tiged? If not couldnt some one like G at Wcc do it?

Nar got plenty other **** on, out of the UK this month more than i am in it. It also needs the thick end of another grand spending on it (exhaust mani, exhaust, throttle body)and all me monies from now till the start of December is going into savings.

Cannot get exhaust made till i have a exhaust manifold, will not have a exhaust manifold till jay makes it etc.

Anyhows my new hobby is my biking, funking loving it again, nice long rasp today on the bike and all is spot on again. Going to aim to loose a stone over the next month.

Looking to buy myself a road bike for winter and there are a few good deals around and about on full carbon road bikes...

Break it I reackon..... This was going to be a quick built and used car?

As it stands now the wiring for the engine is now 99% done, just need one further connector off mark as i have lost one. Tomorrows job is the wiring loom for in the car and integrating the standard car loom and the engine loom. Should be done by lunch though.

Cheers Chip, its the fruit's of making up about 4 different looms for various ecu's over the years. Got the knack of it pretty good now, just takes time doing a piece at a time.

After that last pic i did fit the connectors to the coil's and even if i do say so myself it looks pretty good.

TBH Polevolt is the one i usually use, guy there is really helpful and gets stuff sent out really fast.

I remember reading about your corsa you were going to build in 2008 with the intention of getting it done quickly so you could get straight out and do some trackdays in it and you werent going to go all show and shine with it etc like the nova, so it will be nice to see it at some shows in 2010 looking all shiney

LOL Will not be shiney, other than the bits that need painting nowt else has been touched. Drivers door is rotten on the rear edge and its peppered in parking dints. Dont care about those bits though.

On a plus note i have found via a friend that there is a lad local who is a coded welder who spends all day tigging up titanium, stainless and inconel which is very ****ing handy, very handy indeed. He is also wanting work that he can do in his spare time .......

Thats what i intend to do.

Just means that now i have a very viable alternative to Jay for getting a exhaust manifold
