thats well funny, a bit cheeky really but it must give you some kind of satisfaction
to see that someone is using pics of your engine to try and sell theirs

i seem to get it loads, i get messages all the time from people telling me someones using my car as theirs on facebook or somehwere lmao

i remember bout a year ago someone shew me a link to a bebo page and it had a pic of their 1.4 red astra, then it said progress stages, then the last few 'finished' pics were of my car in my driveway lmaolmao surely his mates must notice when he turns up in his standard 1.4 again lmao

had a day in bed again today :lol:

started cleaning the metal up ready for welding





had a look in the back of the astra to see what shape the origional floor is, and founds its basically flat all the way along, just a little dip for the seat base



where as the calibra goes right up and back after the rear seat bases



got the wire wheel out and started cleanin up the surface rust on the new floor and straighteng up the tabs



so not a great deal done today

went down there a bit earlier today, got the rest of the rust off the top



dont need to worry bout the back as that will be chopped off



flipped it over and was gonna drill the unnesserys off (coil cups, exhaust hangers etc) and get rid of the rust



but got my first ever cold this week, think im gonna die!

so ****ed that off and shot down to my old work and spoke to one of my mates about what rust eater we used, used to spray it on all the restorartions we did, good stuff!

not any good on something like a astra with its rear arches hanging off, but something like my floor pan is perfect, gets rid of every spec of rust in every pin hole, then leaves a nice zinc coating!

gave up for the day then and went home!

popped over to drizz's this even to pick up some turbo wheels



wanna make sure the wheels fit in the arches perfectly dront to back, and realised i didnt have anything 5 stud!

and then once the astra all done i'll have 2 off the 16s wrapped in some nice chunky r888's for 1/4 mile use and the other two will be going through all those normall tyres in drift competitions
